Prosperity Poll

Christianity Today's July 2007 cover story called "Gospel Riches" is about the rise and growth of the prosperity movement. Interestingly they have had a poll up asking their readers what they think about it. Surprisingly as of this morning 7/23 over 70% who took the poll said they believed it to be a heresy.

I found it surprising because most that I have talked to about prosperity theology find it at best a nuisance to the gospel's real message and at worst normal christian theology.
