WOW! Willowcreek

I used to attend a Willow Creek Association church. It was a frustrating experience because though it was a cool place, there was little for growth and discipleship as nearly everything was geared to seekers. Recently Willow Creek did a survey and found the same results. They have now come out on public record and said "we have made a mistake!" He goes on to say...
"Some of the stuff that we have put millions of dollars into thinking it would really help our people grow and develop spiritually, when the data actually came back it was not helping people that much. Other things that we didn’t put that much money into and didn’t put much staff against is stuff our people are crying out for"

I appreciate that Willow Creek has looked at it's surveys and seen that their methods are not working well and confessed that as they have said they seeking to change. That takes courage, integrity and humbleness.

I pray that God gives them wisdom.
