Abortion! The New Great Injustice!

It's easy to say that if we lived in Germany that we wouldn't have tolerated the holocaust of the Jews, and easy to say would wouldn't have tolerated slavery or segregation.

Would we really have done anything?
I wish I would have, but I'm not sure. We are a self centered, self focused, self relient people, and saddly church. We today tolerate Darfur while activists in Hollywood have to be the ones to bring it to the forefront. What a sad thing! Only as of late has this popular injustice been a topic in most churches.
While Oprah builds schools for the downtrodden in Africa we build bigger houses, bigger churches drive nicer cars, have faster planes. This is the churches job yet it feels liek we are asleep or focused on ourselves and not Christ and our neighbors.

Abortion is like slavery of our day, saddly most are silent.

I have been virtually silent. I know 3 people who have been impacted by abortion in the past few years.

Did you know that abortion is one of the most common medical procedures in the US?

I recently came across an amazing abortion site called Abort73. It is a great tool to use in the fight for the life of unbort children.

I also recently got a great teaching by Stand to Reason. It is AMAZING! making abortion unthinkable. I recomend it highly.

One other great article is the message by John Piper at this years Sanctity of Life Sunday titled When is Abortion Racism. You can watch, read or listen to the sermon. Burn it on a CD and listen to it when your stuck in the car. It's the least we can do to get involved.
